What can I expect at a worship service?

Anyone is welcome to come to our services and we understand that if you are new to church or just investigating Christianity for the first time, it can be somewhat intimidating.

For starters, wear whatever you feel comfortable with. Most people at the church will wear something that resembles "neat casual". Some prefer to wear a suit or a tie and please feel comfortable doing so. If you have your own Bible, feel free to bring that along. However, we do have Bibles available for people to use.

Our service usually lasts nearly one hour and 30 minutes. We sing songs, pray, and listen to a talk explaining the Bible. After the service is over people usually stay around for a while for morning tea, before heading off. So, don't be in a rush to leave but please get a cup of coffee and take the opportunity to get to know some of the other people in the church. We believe that church is about people, not buildings, and so we seek to love and serve one another. We hope that when you come you will feel welcomed as a special guest.

Please also know that children of all ages are welcome. Feel free to keep your children with you during the service, otherwise there is an adjacent room where the service can still be seen and heard. At the 10:30 service (during school terms) we also run Kids Church.
